LEARN HOW VISUAL STORIES ARE CAPTURED AND CREATED IN THE WILDERNESS

  • Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort 7375 Icicle Road Leavenworth, WA, 98826 United States (map)

Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort is a slice of heaven featuring fresh, delicious food, great cocktails, cross country skiing, hiking, swimming, games and performing arts. The Icicle Creek Center for the Arts is a beautiful venue on the resort’s wooded mountain valley property.

In this workshop, using one of his short films, award-winning ecologist Chris Morgan will show you how he captures amazing footage of bears and turns it into stories for the screen that are both visually impactful and educational.  You will understand a bit more of the technical approaches as well as the intended educational impact of his work.

After the workshop, you can stick around for BEARTREK and see how he uses these ideas in his full length film.

Space is limited. Workshop is free, but registration is required.  You can purchase tickets for his BEARTEK film here.

If you go, check out my article on Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort.
